My name is Glen Johnson.  I am in a unique position of being a recent graduate in the online/distance educational system.  This blog will cover different tips that I came across during my time at Ashford University.

Distance Tips is the result of things that I learned while taking classes, running a business and dealing with everyday life.  Tips will include getting started, study habits, cheap book alternatives and more.

In todays economy with all of the layoffs in every profession, going back to school to complete an education or change careers an online/distance education is the perfect alternative for anyone that wants to continue there education but does not have the desire to sit in a classroom with students that are the same age as there children.
